RAPID CITY, S.D. — American rock-and-roll band Chicago will mark their 55th consecutive year of touring with a stop in Rapid City on April 22, 2022.
Tickets go on sale Friday, November 19 at 10 a.m. and start around $46.
Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades. They recently received The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammys, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
Chicago has 21 Top 10 singles, five consecutive Number One albums, and 25 certified platinum albums.
The original three band members are Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals and James Pankow on trombone.
