Heidi Homola, Owner of Andi’s Coffee & Bakery in Sheridan, WY tells how the shop began. She says that the house was located in the historic district and was in really rough shape in the beginning. The house was used for railroad workers back in the early 1900s. The house needed a total overhaul.
Homola continues, “Andi’s opened by my mom and my sister in 2015. My husband and myself…we recently in 2019…we bought the shop, so now we’re operating it.”
As far as what to expect from Andi’s Coffee and Bakery, Heidi explains, “We do offer Revel coffee. It’s out of Billings and it is third wave coffee. We honor and respect everybody who came before us as far as like the farmers, the buyers, the roasters. We really have the best job here. We get to provide the product to the customer. So we do take it very seriously. And, then our bakery is all handmade, in-house. Our most popular item is the scone and our cinnamon rolls.”
What makes Andi’s different? Homola says, “I do feel like we offer a place where it is homey. And our employees, I try to keep the morale up here and stuff. I like it to be a place where employees can come and feel like they’re part of a family. And then therefore that comes through to the customers, too, and then they feel welcome here. And everything being made in house and really taking the coffee seriously sets us apart.”
