RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Humane Society of the Black Hills acquired a bit help from a local non-profit on Saturday from Anna’s Kindness.
The group is known as after Anna LeFort, who handed away in 2017 from Influenza and Pneumonia.
According to Anna’s mom, Fran LeFort, Anna liked volunteering and serving to the animals on the humane society when their household lived in Rapid City.
In honor of the five-year anniversary of Anna’s demise, members of the family, associates and classmates gathered on the animal shelter to honor Anna and pay tribute
“We needed to come back to the humane society the place she labored and volunteered along with her associates who’re seniors this yr and to simply get along with them yet another time earlier than they graduate and go on to the subsequent chapter of their lives,” Fran LeFort mentioned.
Officials from the humane society say that teams like Anna’s Kindness help them loads.
