RAPID CITY, S.D. — Main Street Square is celebrating Halloween with ‘Scare in the Square’ which is hosted by downtown Rapid City business groups.
‘Scare in the Square’ will feature a kids zone operated by Monument Health, a photo booth, as well as vendors set up in Main Street Square.
Downtown businesses will be identified with a Trick-or-Treat flier in their window, and there are maps of all the participating business at Main Street Square. The events are free and both kids and parents are encouraged to wear costumes and bring their own Trick-or-Treat bags.
Domico Rodriguez, Executive Director of Main Street Square said, “The good thing is a lot of the kids will be wearing masks, that’s one thing. So we encourage parents and kids to come out and dress up and just enjoy. Just again try to break away for a little sense of normalcy and hopefully everyone enjoys themselves.”
The event takes place downtown Rapid City on Halloween this Saturday from 12-2 p.m.
