RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Christian girls basketball team recently competed in the Dakota State University Classic and lost to Deubrook Area by 24 points.
The Comets returned home on Tuesday to face the Sturgis Scoopers.
Rapid City Christian closed out the first half on a 12-0 run to take a 16 point lead into halftime.
The Comets went on to beat the Scoopers, 53-40.
Rapid City Christian improves to 7-3 on the season, while Sturgis falls to 2-7.
The Comets will play Newcastle, WY on Saturday, Jan. 15 at the Sacred Hoops West River Class in Spearfish.
Rapid City Central will host the Scoopers on Thursday, Jan. 13.
