RAPID CITY, S.D. — On Saturday, the 11th annual Bierborse Festival brought hundreds to Main Street Square in Rapid City.
On somewhat of a drizzly day, members of the public were able to enjoy the beer olympics, keg bowling, corn hole and some local brews.
A total of 168 presale tickets were sold with estimates of around 300 people attending the event.
Bierborse was the first ever event held at Main Street Square 11 years ago, and while the turnout is encouraging staff members and organizers say it’s always favorite to put together.
“It’s kind of been the the routine this year, but we’re just glad to kind of kick off the fall season with beer,” said Domico Rodriguez, the President & CEO of Main Street Square. “For us, it’s this is the very first event ever held here at Main Street Square, so it’s a it’s a special event for us here on staff.”
For those that needed a safe drive home, designated driver options were offered.
