RAPID CITY, S.D. – Family enjoyable with a down-home sound – that was what individuals on the Dahl Arts Center bought Sunday afternoon.
The Black Hills Bluegrass Association hosted their annual Spring Showcase, with music filling the John T. Vucurevich Event Center. The showcase was a time to bounce and hearken to a sequence of performers.
The showcase offers the bluegrass affiliation an opportunity to boost cash for its greatest occasion of the 12 months, the annual Black Hills Bluegrass Festival.
“Everyone who’s right here as we speak are donating their time,” Bluegrass Committee Member Cathy Kjar mentioned. “We take the cash that we earn right here and we obtain right here, and we’re capable of pay for bands, pay for their journey, for their lodging and issues like that. And give them some cash of their pockets.”
The festival this 12 months is about for Friday, June 24 by means of Sunday, June 26.
