RAPID CITY, S.D. — The 80th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally kicks off August 7, and a sure sign things are rolling is the Rally at Exit 55.
Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City is already setting up the big, metal tent that will be used to show off bikes that they have for sale.
The tent is approximately 38,000 square feet making it very easy for the public to distance themselves from one another.
“Well, we’re out in the open, the fresh air, we control about 40 acres here, so we can really spread out and have a great event,” says Black Hills Harley-Davidson CEO, Al Rieman.
The next step is for all of the motorcycles located inside of the store to be moved outside for easier access.
