RAPID CITY, S.D. — Fork Real Café has been a staple of downtown Rapid City since its inception in 2017.
The nonprofit, pay-what-you-can café has reached hundreds with meals gifted to these in want.
“Fork Real is a nonprofit; anybody is welcome to come eat right here no matter their skill to pay for a meal,” says co-founder David Pearcy. “We don’t do handouts; we provide folks a meal in change for volunteering.”
Now, Fork Real is in actual want – of votes.
They’ve reached the ultimate spherical in State Farm’s “Neighborhood Assist” program, and it’s an enormous alternative.
