BOX ELDER, S.D. — The Charm Farm is a nonprofit safe haven for rescued animals and promotes wellness, compassion, and environmental responsibility.
Programs offered include farm for fun days, future photographers, horsemanship, junior veterinarian day, teen and family camps. They are also a home to a youth group for teens who have get-togethers and volunteer in the community.
Charm Farm volunteers and staff want to help others heal by their programs.
Tamara Lile, the Executive Director of Charm Farm, says, “Basically I have a farm as my tool, but we establish any kind of camp just to get kids off their devices and try to connect you know the bigger picture and the larger world out there.”
Make sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, August 21 for the annual Goat Gala Fundraiser that features a sit down dinner, dancing, and all the cuteness of farm animals you can handle.
