RAPID CITY, S.D. — It’s a good day when you can play golf and help children at the same time.
Dozens of players, teeing off at Hart Ranch on Friday for the Children’s Miracle Network’s Play Yellow Golf Tournament.
More players were on hand this year to help raise money for children being cared for at Monument Health.
The tournament did have a few new rules to help keep everyone safe.
“We’ve made some modifications to offer our golfers today a safer event,” said CMN Regional Program Coordinator, Shawn Powers. “Some rules on the golf course to kind of reduce the high touch areas that you normally get on a golf course. And then our luncheon afterwards, rather than a buffet, we’re doing box lunches. Just those little steps the extra things you have to do this year to make sure everyone’s being safe. ”
Besides various prizes for the golf, there was also a fundraising raffle for CMN.
