DEADWOOD, S.D. — Days of ’76 offers a week of events including five PRCA rodeos. Cowboys and cowgirls compete in barrel racing, bull riding, team roping, steer roping, bare back and saddle bronc events.
Deadwood has received many honors for this event.
Ted Thompson, Days of ’76 Chairman of the Board, says, “We just grow this rodeo bigger and better every year, and the cowboys and the cowgirls have voted us 18 times Rodeo of the year the the PRCA and the professional world of rodeo. We are very proud of that honor.”
2020 Miss Rodeo America, Jordan Tierney will be joining us during our event this year. Jordan is a former Miss Rodeo South Dakota and Miss Days of 76. She will be signing autographs at The Outlaw Square on Main Street in Deadwood each day July 22-25.
