RAPID CITY, S.D. — DeCory’s Haunt is South Dakota’s number 1 haunted house attraction and is set up in the Rushmore Mall right next to Planet Fitness.
With 30,000 square feet and two haunted houses in one location, DeCory’s Haunt makes it simple to socially distance guests from one another.
“We have CDC guidelines in place; we’ve been making it a safe place for everybody and people are just enjoying getting scared and having fun,” said Adonis Saltes, the President of DeCory’s Haunt. “We wanna make sure people understand we can still be safe and put everybody’s health as the number one priority and still have a great time.”
DeCory’s Haunt originated in Pine Ridge over 10 years ago as a haunted hayride attraction. And now the company is trying their hand at haunted houses and has seen a positive response from the public so far.
“You know it’s been a great transition moving to Rapid City,” Saltes said. “Three years ago, we decided to take it to the professional level and here we’re doing fairly well at it.
The haunted house is $20 for general admission and $30 for a fast pass that allows you to skip the line.
