Discover the local art of the Black Hills at Riverfront Art Gallery

Riverfront Art Gallery opened its doors in Hot Springs back in February 2022. In addition to its sister store, the Perfect Hanging Gallery in Rapid City, Riverfront Art Gallery is a unique space showcasing art made by local artists from the Black Hills.

Here’s what you need to know about the North River location:

• The building was originally an opera house built in 1911 by a Russian Jew immigrant. Since its construction, it’s been an indoor shooting range, a church and, as of 2004, an art gallery.
• The gallery features a wine bar — perfect for groups and events.
• While national, regional and local art is always on display, Black Hills contemporary artwork is front and center at Riverfront Art Gallery.
• The gallery is open Fridays, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
