RAPID CITY, S.D. — The event is part of Freedom Day USA, a national ‘thank you’ movement to recognize past and present members of the Armed Forces.
The event is happening on Friday, November 13.
The Orchard Meadows Family Dental & Denture Clinic is offering a free extraction, filling or cleaning to all veterans and active duty military.
“The idea is to give back to veterans and active duty service members, to thank them for the work they do to protect our freedom,” said Scott Bader, the Marketing Director for Orchard Meadows Family Dental and Denture Clinic.
Orchard Meadows has a special reason for helping give a hand to veterans in this way.
“Our owner, Dr. Mark Garner he is a veteran, he got his dental training as a result of service in the United States Air Force, and so taking care of veterans is very important to us as an organization,” Bader said.
These free services are by appointment and are offered from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Call (605) 737-3150 to schedule an appointment.
A military ID or form DD214 is required from each participant and must be presented at the time of the visit.
