BOX ELDER, S.D. — A line of sturdy thunderstorms handed by the Black Hills Friday afternoon, bringing lightning, heavy rain, wind, and small hail. Box Elder was hit notably onerous with torrents of rain and small hail.
60 mile-per-hour winds have been recorded at Ellsworth Air Force Base, alongside with a number of inches of rain in lower than an hour for parts of Box Elder.
Prairie Ridge Golf Course was principally underwater, which was draining beneath North Ellsworth Road and inflicting main flooding on the Valley Village Mobile Home Park.
Further up North Ellsworth Road, residents in Raider Pointe have been out of energy, as water got here throughout the street, flooding backyards and basements. Water was as much as the roadway on the base-side North Ellsworth Road, and was coming throughout the driveway on the Box Elder Post Office.
Ellsworth Air Force Base, Antelope Ridge, and lots of different elements of Box Elder flooded, too.
