Opening in 2016, and formerly known as Jump Craze, Get Air Trampoline Park in Rapid City recently changed to their current business in June of 2021.
General Manager Stephanie Molash explains the different fun-filled options for kids of all ages, like Toddler Time and Club Air.
“We offer Toddler Time, it’s from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we just recently added one on Sundays. We also have Club Air, and that’s on Fridays and Saturday nights from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. It’s super fun for anybody over 46 inches. Toddler Time is for anybody under 46 inches.”
In addition to Toddler Time, Get Air offers their Little Air area, also for anybody 46 inches and under.
Get Air has different events throughout the week like:
- Mondays – Family of four or more jumps for 20% off
- Tuesdays – Bogo in the afternoon, jump for two hours for the price of one
- Wednesdays – Homeschool Day, anybody that’s homeschooled gets 20% off
- Thursdays – Normal toddler times
- Fridays and Saturdays – Club Air nights
Club Air involves turning on the disco lights, giving the area a clubby atmosphere. The music is turned up and everyone has a lot of fun.
Other events that take place at Get Air include Special Time that’s offered every first Saturday of the month. It’s for anybody that has special needs and their caregiver or parents.
“We’re a part of the South Dakota Kids Belong. Anybody that’s a foster family can come in and they can get 20% off of their jump,” said Stephanie.
The large facility has space for:
- Open Air Jump
- Basketball
- Dodgeball
- A foam pit
“So everyone can be like an amateur gymnast over here. Everybody just comes in and like they’re just pros at jumping.”
Get Air isn’t just for kids, adults can get in on the fun, too.
“Any age group you can come in. I mean, even babies that can’t even walk yet, they can crawl around and still bounce. It’s super fun. And then if you’re older, I mean, it’s good exercise. Lots of cardio. It keeps you young,” Stephanie said.
The only requirement is you have to have the special grip socks for the trampolines. The socks are sold them at the front area, and if you save them, you’re allowed to bring them back so you don’t have to pay for them again.
Get Air is located right behind the Flying J on 449 Americas Way. Their hours of operation are:
- Monday – Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10p.m.
- Sunday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
