RAPID CITY, S.D. — Love Inc. is a nonprofit, that among other things, helps individuals come out of poverty with many ministries that includes the Life Inc. classes.
The spring quarter is coming up soon.
They offer a variety of subject classes like finances, parenting, gardening, nutrition, foster care and more.
Classes are set up at different locations around town.
They host three, nine-week sessions per quarter, and consider them a success for participants.
Dr. Bill Meirose, Life Inc. Program Director, says, “We provide different education opportunities and classes to help individuals to gain information that they can use to transform their lives, and in the process it is our prayer that they also develop healthy relationships to go along through that place.”
There is no pre-requisite to take the classes; childcare and a meal is provided class nights.
Meirose says, “There is also that need for community that we have to build and we do build a community, that is why we do the meals and so because I think because we are addressing those needs, that helps people to be a success.”
