RAPID CITY, S.D. — A good way to start the week is with a new job.
Ever since he was young, Parker Harrison wanted to get involved with law enforcement and says this position as a community service officer is a good starting point. Captain Tony Harrison says he is proud of his son that he chose a career in law enforcement as he abides by the slogan ‘service before self.’
“I think he’s been probably actively pursuing this career field for probably 10 or 12 years, since he’s been fairly young,” Tony Harrison said “It’s always what he wanted to do, having seen me live the whole life. I think he’s always enjoyed it.”
“I put it to heart, I really put everyone before myself, and just serve first,” said Parker Harrison.
