RAPID CITY, S.D. — Two local riding clubs held a family friendly event Saturday night at Robbinsdale Bowling Alley to support Mission 22.
The Twisted Talons and Legacy Riders put on a Hogtoberfest where an entire 600 pound pig was smoked for two days straight to provide food for the meal.
For $20 you could get pork, beans, bread, homemade salsa and much more.
Members of the Twisted Talons say that these fundraising events help them give back and help organizations like Mission 22 who are doing the same.
“The people who serve for us deserving you know, deserve to come home to a better place, better style, the better community you know,” said Twisted Talons Riding Club President Ken Zuniga. “And if they need help, they have the will and the power to find that help.”
The event even included raffles with all proceeds going to Mission 22.
