RAPID CITY, S.D. — On Friday, Sen. Mike Rounds and Rep. Dusty Johnson spoke to native veterans at a Disabled American Veterans Townhall on the Rushmore Hotel.
At the townhall, veterans voiced concerns for a Veteran’s Administration advice that was given a month ago that would shut sure services in South Dakota.
On that checklist, the Fort Meade and Hot Springs VA Clinic areas have been included.
Moving ahead, Sen. Rounds says that the following plan of action is to collect help to not enable the choose committee to type, and afterwards, plans will start to be put in place to transfer ahead with the cuts.
Sen. Rounds says the way in which the present plan is written now instantly assaults smaller VA clinics.
