RAPID CITY, S.D. — Moonlit Moves kicks off Monday, May 24 at dusk with the showing of ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
In addition to the feature film, the Main Street Square will also include a beverage garden, the fun express train, and Elks Theatre concession stand.
The movies will play once a month for the summer season, with a goal of connecting the community by offering free, family centered events.
Domico Rodriguez, the Executive Director of the Main Street Square, says,“We’ll just allow this space and this environment to host movies and allow the kids and families again to come out and enjoy some of the classics, you know Wizard of Oz…Mean Girls…we have some great movies this year that the kids will be able to enjoy and showcase again Main Street Square and downtown Rapid City.”
The public is welcome to bring their own chair or blanket to sit on and all movies begin at dusk.
