GILLETTE, WY – The National High School Finals Rodeo wrapped up on Saturday in Gillette, Wyoming.
Thayne Elshere from Hereford, SD was topped the reserve champion in the saddle bronc with 226 factors on three head.
He completed three factors behind Statler Wright from Utah who completed with 229 factors.
Overall South Dakota completed sixth in the staff standings with 4,258.75 factors.
Texas completed in first place.
