When in Summerset, check out Neighbors Grub and Pub. The building was originally a Wells Fargo Bank that has since been converted into a restaurant.
James Schwab, Owner, explains what the atmosphere is like. “It’s just a family, you know, neighborhood grill. It’s a locals’ place. We like to do eclectic food, where we’re trying to get creative with our burgers. We started doing some breakfast. We’re not going to open much earlier, so it’ll just be like brunch fare. Just some fun stuff. Steak tips is our number one deal. But other than that, you know, it’s mostly, craft burgers. And then we just added some new items. We just added nachos. ” Neighbors Grub and Pub do make their own chips and their goal is to make really good food. They also have 12 beers on tap featuring some local beer. “We want it to be relaxed or, you know, we want people to be able to come in and have a beer after work. But we also want the young families to be able to come in, sit down, have a meal with their kids and just have a good time. Just like I said, just kind of that neighborhood grill, just you where everybody can kind of hang out.”
