RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is out in full force during the Central States Fair.
While attendance has been slightly down this year, about a half-dozen arrests have been made.
PCSO says the fair is a great place to bring your kids, but it helps to be prepared should you get separated from your child.
“Something that would help us is having more distinct clothing I know you don’t want to leave your child unsupervised, but we understand you turn your back and things happen and we want to quickly reunite those children with those families,” said Lt. Dustin Morrison of the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations.
They also suggest setting a designated meeting place in case you get separated, and having an updated photo to share with authorities will also help.
