RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City Regional Airport Officials are expressing concerns over the lack of workers as the summer travel season approaches.
Airport Director of Operations and Maintenance, Chris Deitz, says they are looking to hire additional maintenance staff and seasonal Skycaps. Applications and job descriptions for those jobs, along with job openings for individual airlines, can be found online by clicking here.
“We are entering into one of our busiest summers ever and we are needing more staff, as well as many of our airport tenants,” Deitz said. “We are exploring ways to increase the pool of applicants for these positions to maintain the high quality level of service our passengers deserve and expect.”
In addition to the Airport, the Rapid City’s Parks and Recreation Department, The Monument, and many local businesses are experiencing a shortage of seasonal workers.
