Revival Today Veteran’s Brigade makes their first appearance at the Buffalo Chip

Jeff Laquire, Founder of Revival Today Veteran’s Brigade is hosting Sturgis Fest 2022, August 7-11 each day from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Laquire encourages everyone to come. “We’re giving away a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle, thousands of dollars in gift apparel, as well as, fuel cards.”

Revival Today Veteran’s Brigade is a veterans ministry run by Veterans for Veterans. Although there are several organizations to help veterans with medical issues, mental issues or housing, Laquire feels that there is no one to help with the spiritual side.

Laquire says, “When we go into the military, we’re broken down, we’re rebuilt and we were given this warrior spirit. And when we move throughout the world doing great things for our country, our warrior spirit is celebrated. But then when we come home and we get out of the military [and] we’re told we’re broken. We’re told that the way you are and how you act is wrong.”

Revival Today Veteran’s Brigade began on March 30, 2021. They are hoping to make the Sturgis Bike Rally an annual event. 

Laquire explains, “There’s a heavy veteran presence here. There’s a lot of veterans just downtown Sturgis, walking through Main Street. People look at the world, they’re like, wow, the world’s falling apart. Well, if you read the Bible, the world’s fallen into place. Guys, Veterans, brothers and sisters, and the American populace [are] scared. We’ve spent our whole lives defending this country. While the enemy’s been right here within.”

Revival Today Veteran’s Brigade is an outreach ministry of a church located in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania led by Jonathan Shuttlesworth.

Laquire says that Shuttlesworth understands the battle ahead. The Sturgis Bike Rally is their first major event.

Laquire says, “We knew that Sturgis was had a heavy veteran presence, and we wanted to stake our flag here at the Buffalo Chip and say, ‘Hey, this is who we are. This is what we’re about.’ We know there’s millions of veterans out there that feel the same way, and we’re going to teach them. This is like I said, this is not a fight of flesh and blood. This is not weapons anymore. Gentlemen, ladies, brothers and sisters, this is a spiritual battle. And if you want to learn how to fight this battle, follow The Veterans Brigade, we’ll lead you.”
