RAPID CITY, S.D. — You can get in on the sweet beverages or treats from 22 area businesses with a $35 donation to Bethany Christian Services, Safe Families Program, in Rapid City.
The launch party will be this Saturday, August 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their location at 508 Columbus street in Rapid City, when passports are buy-one-get-one for 50 percent off.
“We use this money to assist families in crisis, so we help them to get gift cards, to pay for finger printing for our volunteers, and then getting some supplies for families in crisis when we serve them,” said Shelby Kruckenberg, the Coordinator for Safe Families.
Safe Families for Children is an entirely donor-funded ministry providing temporary care for vulnerable children.
This is the seventh year for the caffeine cruise.
When you purchase a passport, you must go to the featured business of the day to redeem your treat or beverage.
The passports begins on September 26 and goes for two weeks.
