RAPID CITY, S.D. – Families can now pay a visit to Santa and Mrs. Claus at Main Street Square in their usual location by Who’s Toy House.
Social distancing has been implemented to keep the North Pole pair healthy. Visitors are asked when waiting in line to wear masks and to maintain a safe distance from others.
Children can chat from the bench in front of the duo and disclose what they truly want for Christmas.
“So they get to come in, see Santa and Mrs. Clause. Tell them what they want and they get some free candy and then just get the experience, get their pictures taken. Definitely a thing to remember,” said Who’s Toy Employee, Carlie Sauder.
The bench is sanitized after each family.
Santa will be at Main street Square for the next two Saturdays, December 12 and December 19, between the hours of 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
There is also a coloring contest for all who want to participate. Coloring pages can be picked up as pictures are being taken.
