Stocks closed greater on Wall Street Monday with assist from huge know-how and communications shares.
The S&P 500 rose 0.8%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3% and the Nasdaq rose 1.9%. Twitter soared 27% following an enormous funding within the firm from Tesla’s Elon Musk.
The good points in know-how firms helped offset weak spot in different elements of the market.
U.S. crude oil costs rose 4%. The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 2.41%.
