Oyster Bay Casino and A & B Pizza
Oyster Bay Casino and A & B Pizza located in the Historic Fairmont Hotel in downtown Deadwood features great food like pizza, wings, nachos, shrimp, pasta and fresh blue point oysters.
“We have oysters on the half shell. And you can have those either raw or steamed,” said Sheila Cerkoney, a bartender at Oyster Bay and A & B Pizza. “And then we also make oyster shooters that started like 30 years ago. Everyone has to have one when they come to Deadwood.”
Hours of operation are:
- Sunday through Thursday – 9 a.m. to midnight
- Friday & Saturday – 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Fairmont Hotel Ghost Tours
The Historic Fairmont Hotel has been featured on TV shows like “Ghost Adventures” and “Deadfiles” but it offers ghost tours that dive into historical perspectives about the hotel’s violent and colorful past and its present day hauntings.
“We take you upstairs here to the old hotel and we take it to the old brothels up there,” said Manager of Ghost Tours, Fairmont Hotels Kimberly Maag. “It was built originally to be a hotel. But like everything in Deadwood, it turned into a brothel, and it was a brothel for almost 100 years.”
Tickets are sold at A & B Pizza at the bar, and they are $20 per person. The tours start every night at 7:30 p.m.
