Spearfish Valley Produce is hosting the Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch for the 10th year. The patch offers various sizes and shapes of pumpkins that are sold separately.
With a plethora of activities to do for kids and adults alike, the corn maze and pumpkin patch is open every weekend until Halloween.
Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch Owner Nicole Krautschun says they have about 20 acres of pumpkins all together.
“So you can either pick them out of piles or you can actually go out into that corner into the pumpkin patch with wagons and find your perfect pumpkin,” Nicole said.
Some of the things offered include:
- A giant corn box
- Zip lines
- A giant slide
- The corn maze.
The corn maze this year is 12 acres in size, and the pattern can be found on their Facebook page or website.
“They will give you a map and a stamp card at the entrance. So the stamp stations, you know, there’s eight stamps in the maze, so you can find all eight, you can bring it out and get a prize and a treat,” Nicole added.
Even if you find only one stamp, you can still bring it over and get the treat, and then there are kids that are walking around in there that can help you try to find your way out as it’s a challenge.
The Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch is open on weekends:
- Friday: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
