RAPID CITY, S.D. — The United Way of the Black Hills is hosting its “Round ‘Em Up” packet and donation collection starting today and going through Friday.
Traditionally this event is done in person to encourage donation drop-offs as well as recognize donors. But not this year – no social events to help protect the safety of the donors.
Each day, the United Way will focus on one area it serves to collect packets and donations. The packets and donations need to be dropped off at a designated drop off zone one day prior to the day of collection.
Kayla Klein, United Way of the Black Hills said “we know that our communities, our families, and children are struggling in the Black Hills Area. And any help that we can get with raising funds to support these entities and individuals, we would greatly appreciate it.”
Although this week is focusing on “Rounding Up” donations, the United Way will be accepting campaign packets and donations until December 31st.
