RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City owners might be receiving a city-endorsed letter for utility line service protection plans, they usually are the true deal.
As a part of a membership with the National League of Cities, residents are ready to enroll in the optionally available protection by way of Service Line Warranties of America.
You can receive protection for as much as $8,500 per service name for water, sewer and septic line repairs.
So far, almost 1,400 owners have enrolled within the protection plans, totaling about $450,000 in restore financial savings.
“People don’t understand that they, the house owner, are chargeable for repairs to their utility service strains from the house to the principle,” Rapid City Communications Coordinator Darrell Shoemaker mentioned. “But for a small funding per thirty days, they will get this protection for, once more, their utility service strains.”
Coverage begins 30-days after a house owner accepts the preliminary request for the protection plan.
