RAPID CITY, S.D. — Representatives from Rapid City Area Schools are scheduled to make an announcement about this year’s Junior/Senior Prom Monday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m.
The announcement, which will be streamed live on NewsCenter1.tv, comes after RCAS received some criticism for their decision to cancel prom for the second year in a row.
RCAS had previously stated that they are working with community partners to try and find an alternative to prom, so that students don’t have to miss out completely.
