WATCH: six-year-old Athen of Rapid City celebrates his Wish Day

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Sunday was Wish Day for six-year-old Athen of Rapid City. His wish was to have a virtual shopping spree.

To make his day extra special, the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Rapid City Police Department, Rapid City Fire Department, Best Buy, and his Adopt-A-Wish partner, Mason Mudlin Memorial (Ride For Wishes), created a fun parade with lights and sirens.

JR’s Rhodehouse BBQ PIT provided lunch, Jessica Simons Photography captured the event, and Sara Odden, Tandi Croghan and Hailey Vielmetti volunteered.
