SPEARFISH, S.D. — A little bit of rain couldn’t dampen the spirits in downtown Spearfish on Friday tonight.
Downtown Friday Nights are back, and it’s a great chance for the whole family to get out of the house during the pandemic. The Downtown Business Association worked with the Spearfish City Council to ensure the safety of the people in Spearfish attending the event.
“We had a lot of meetings with the city, met with the city council on multiple occasions, the local police department and the local law enforcement agencies just to make sure that we all were on the same page and felt that we were doing this responsibly and I am happy to say that I feel that we are,” said Nathan Hoogshagen, the Executive Director of the Downtown Business Association.
Downtown Friday Nights in Spearfish will have live music every week and will be held into September.
