RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Youth & Family Services introduced on Monday that the group obtained a grant from the Les Paul Foundation to assist STEM programming inside their Middle School Program.
The Les Paul Foundation has awarded over $4 million to nonprofit organizations and award grants to innovate STEM and STEAM applications for college kids and others in difficult conditions.
“We are delighted to have obtained this grant and are desperate to see what the scholars will be capable to be taught and attain due to the assist of the Les Paul Foundation,” shared Sharon Oney, YFS’ Chief Grants Officer.
YFS says that their Middle School Program helps casual and tutorial studying by means of STEM actions, tutoring/homework assist and tutorial mentoring, and a deal with entrepreneurship and profession pathways.
The program contains actions equivalent to self-guided exploration in YFS’ expertise lab, month-to-month instructor-facilitated particular initiatives, discipline journeys and shadowing actions within the native college and enterprise neighborhood.
